Everyone Orchestra
Everyone Orchestra
The Everyone Orchestra conductor/founder Matt Butler has taken its participants, both on stage and off, on improvisational journeys with the most diverse of lineups at festivals, theaters and philanthropic events both nationally and internationally. A laundry list of hundreds of musicians, dancers, singers, guest conductors and community organizations have embraced the experience of EO in single shots of musical adrenaline to the soul. Tuning in to his energy, the band and audience utilize The Conductor as their pivot to the set mood of each passing jam as he communicates with the musicians using hand signs, whiteboard and assorted mime suggestions.

From EO Conductor Matt Butler:
The basic idea is that we are co-creating music and utilizing conducted improvisation as a system or agreement, to aim for moments of musical magic. My intent as a conductor is to steer the group towards creating compositional content within our improvisations while keeping the performance dynamic, diverse, inclusive and also getting the audience involved as the extended "choral" section. We are here to have fun, connect with each other, be challenged musically and create a one of a kind performance
Claude Coleman, Jr.
Claude Coleman, Jr.
Claude Coleman, Jr. is the drummer for the alternative rock group Ween. He has also worked with Eagles of Death Metal, Chocolate Genius, The Wooden Soldiers, Elysian Fields and currently 3 Input Woman.

A multi-instrumentalist, Coleman is also the singer/songwriter for his own group Amandla. In 2007, he released his second album as Amandla, titled The Full Catastrophe. In June 2013, Coleman raised $11,158 through Indiegogo to fund his third album.

Coleman survived a near-fatal car accident on August 7, 2002, in which he suffered multiple pelvic fractures and brain injuries. During his extensive and difficult recovery, members of Ween organized a series of benefit concerts on October 7 and 8, 2002, New York's Bowery Ballroom. Josh Freese performed with Ween in Coleman's place. Coleman ultimately recovered sufficiently to resume his touring and recording activities, and remained an active member of Ween until their dissolution in May 2012. He performed with Ween during their Colorado concerts on 12-14 February 2016.

Coleman is also active in music education through the Paul Green School of Rock, and through the New York City music program Music Ascension. Throughout his musical career, especially when touring with Ween, Coleman has been known for his creative percussive styles (e.g. playing his drum set bare-handed in when performing live in Chicago, to emulate a "bongo-esque" sound).

The RunniKine
The Runnikine is an improvisational funk music super-trio based out of Denver, CO. The band is comprised of three relentlessly hard working individuals – Will Trask (drums), Jon McCartan (bass), and Eric Luba (keys) - who have made a name for themselves in the scene with a constant variety of musical activity. In addition to their time on the road with several touring bands, each member of The Runnikine has been called upon individually by musical peers to provide their exceptional talents in the studio, as session musicians on recordings for other bands.

Having vast on-tour and in-studio experience has enabled this group to touch into the deepest levels of musical literacy, allowing them to create each show as a "from the hip" experience – meaning each concert is 100% spontaneous and unplanned, with set lists and jams being determined in real time, in front of a live audience. While every single show is completely different, one thing remains the same: You never know what might happen, or who might join them on the stage, and it will always be an incredibly funky dance party.
