Gasoline Lollipops
Gasoline Lollipops
Gasoline Lollipops is a Colorado band that combines the sincerity of dirt-floor folk with the energy and rebelliousness of punk. It's an all-new incarnation of alt-country that’s both high-energy and heartfelt, like the American highway's soundtrack.

This year Colorado Daily readers voted Gasoline Lollipops "Best Local Musician/Group" for 2017. In 2016, Denver Westword named Gasoline Lollipops Colorado's Best Country Artist. 2014 and 2015 brought multiple awards and accolades to the Gasoline Lollipops, including being selected to play six showcases in Austin during SXSW 2014; getting voted Best Band in the Colorado Daily's 2014 and 2015 polls; being selected as one of only six bands across Colorado for the highly coveted SpokesBUZZ Emerging Artists Incubator program; and winning the Oskar Blues Battle of the Bands in 2015.

The quartet has also been on the bills of a number of great music festivals, including SXSW; NedFest; the Westword Showcase; Divide Festival; Bohemian Nights @ New West Fest; UMS Denver; Higher Ground Music Festival; Empire Americana; FoCoMX; Frozen Dead Guy Days and more.

Here’s what others are sayin’ about the GasPops:

"Uncompromised, vicious and authentic" - The Denver Post

"A group that combines elegance with grit and a rambunctious intensity" - Denver Westword

"One part rockabilly and one part alternative rock, the Gasoline Lollipops have carved out a space for themselves in the Boulder music scene with a sound and feel that is all their own" - Colorado Daily
Whippoorwill
Whippoorwill
“Masterful at containing the true dynamic nature of emotions. At once, sad and joyful, yearning and fulfilled. Which element stands out strongest depends on your mood. This is beautiful, masterfully crafted, skillfully performed music..” HEY REVERB

Staci Foster, Tobias Bank (Papagoya, Von Stomper), and Alysia Kraft (Patti Fiasco) are on the same wavelength of intentionality. Catharsis is the point of the songs but the tools to get there vary. With Bank on drums, Foster swapping between guitar, harmonica, and banjo, and Kraft playing electric guitar, they’re in their element with raw, authentic, stripped-down performances that nod to icons Neil Young and Lucinda Williams. There is spirituality steeped in the country backdrops they write from and a deep reverence for the landscapes that raised them. A balance of grace and grit is written as much into their worldview as their songs.

Recorded at GPM Studio in Fort Collins and co-produced by Tallgrass, their debut album contains six- stick-to-heart tracks that earned them 2016 nominations for Wyoming Public Radio and the Colorado Playlists’ Best Albums of the Year. Culture Trip named them to the female edition of 50 Musicians You Need to Know from Each State. In their first ten months as a band, they’ve shared stages with Lydia Loveless, Colin Hay, and Old Crow Medicine Show, and will perform at this year’s Treefort Music Festival.
Write Minded
Write Minded
Based out of the Foothills of Colorado, Write Minded is a fresh and tasteful addition to the National music scene. With a unique mixture of hip-hop, rock, funk, reggae, and soul, Write Minded pushes the confining boundaries of genre to bring you something brand-new.
The group materialized when Sam and Jesse branched from a local collective and began focusing on an acoustic hip-hop set with added percussion from Jonah. In preparation for a larger gig, TurtleBear, Fofo, and Willy slid right in bringing flavors of psychedelic rock, true funk, electronic hip hop, and so many other tasty sounds that added a multitude of dynamics. What formed out of the experience was an exclusive blend of music that ultimately developed into Write Minded.
Things took off after the release of the Write Minded Demo, and just one year later, Write Minded released their debut album, "Eye Above".
